After beating Atalanta 2-0 at San Siro on Sunday, AC Milan are one point away from becoming Serie A champions.

Stefano Pioli’s side recorded two goals in the second half to give Stefano Pioli’s side victory, and they are now close to winning the league.

To become champions for the 19th time in their history, the Rossoneri need only a point against Sassuolo next Sunday.

Atalanta and AC Milan played a goalless first half at the San Siro. However, in the second half, Rafael Leao scored the goal for the Rossoneri. Moreover, to double the lead, Theo Hernandez scored an outstanding solo goal, beating more than five defenders in the process.

After the goals, Atalanta were looking lively, but it was too late for them and they were not able to beat Milan’s goalkeeper, Maignan.

AC Milan are two points ahead of second-placed Inter Milan. Meanwhile, Atalanta is still in eighth place in the league.
