As a surprise contender to sign Eden Hazard, Arsenal have established first contact with Real Madrid over the possibility of signing the former Chelsea forward.
Eden Hazard came to Real Madrid in the year 2019 and since then, he has not been the same player. He came to Madrid, but he was not able to live up to the expectations as he had many injuries.
Despite playing over 700 minutes of La Liga football, the Belgian has managed to provide only one assist this season. There were reports saying he was going to Chelsea in this January transfer window but nothing happened. However, sanctions imposed on Chelsea make a reunion highly unlikely.
Real will also look to offload Hazard as they are trying to make new signings.
According to Foot Mercato, via Marca, Arsenal have already made contact about a potential deal and it seems their interest is serious.
