Arsenal make a late comeback against Wolverhampton Wanderers

Alexandre Lacazette helps Arsenal pull off a stunning 2-1 comeback against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates.

Wolves got off to a great start after taking the lead after just 10 minutes, with Hee-chan scoring a goal. The poor backpass from Gabriel to Aaron Ramsdale was intercepted by the South Korean player, then he rounded the goal keeper to give the visitors the lead.

Arsenal responded impressively, but Lacazette’s shot was saved by Jose Sa. Arsenal were constantly able to create chances and were able to take shots, but they struggled to find the net. In the first half, Martinelli had a beautiful chance to score an equaliser, but his attempt went just above the crossbar. Hee Chan almost doubled the lead for the Wolves as his shot was inches away from finding the net.

Later, Arteta made two substitute for his team. Pepe came in for Martinelli and Nketiah came in for Soares. Substitute Pepe scored the equaliser around the 82nd minute, and it was assisted by another substitute Nketiah.

Late in injury time, Lacazette’s shot was deflected inside the goal by Goalkeeper and Arsenal took 3 points against wolves.

Arsenal are currently in 5th position in the league table with 45 points in 24 games.
