Aston Villa sign Boubacar Kamara from Marseille

The Premier League club Aston Villa have signed Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara to a five-year deal.

Following the expiry of his Marseille contract, the Kamara will join Aston Villa on a free transfer.

The youth academy product has appeared in 170 games for the French side. Moreover, he also got is first call for the France national team.

For the first time, he will be part of the France senior squad for the upcoming Nations League matches against Denmark, Austria, and Croatia.

Kamara is the second player to join Villa this month after Philippe Coutinho made his loan from Barcelona permanent.

Aston Villa Head Coach Steven Gerrard said to their website: “I am delighted that we have been able to attract one of the most promising young talents in European football.

“We have a very clear plan to make our team stronger and Bouba is an important part of that.”
