Barcelona extended their unbeaten run in the league to 10 games after defeating Athletic Club 4-0 at Camp Nou.

Barcelona dominated the game from the first minute of the first half, as Athletic Club were not able to cope with Barcelona’s intensity in the first half. Barca went into the first half with a 1-0 lead thanks to Aubameyang’s acrobatic goal. Pique’s header hit the crossbar, and Aubameyang scored on the rebound.

In the second half, Athletic Club were able to enjoy ball possession for a few minutes, but still didn’t manage to create any goal threats. Later in the second half, Xavi made changes. He brought on Ousmane Dembele and Frenkie De Jong for Ferran Torres and Gavi.

Dembele showed his class once again by scoring a goal with an exceptional finish, which was assisted by Frenkie. Then Xavi made three more changes, bringing Memphis for Adama, Nico for Busquets, and Luuk De Jong for Aubameyang.

Ousmane started playing on the right when Memphis came on, with Luuk De Jong in between and Memphis on the left. Barcelona buried the game when Ousmane Dembele’s pass was headed by Luuk De Jong to seal victory. And in the last minute, to finish it off, Dembele played a ball to Memphis to score a goal.

Barcelona are currently in 4th position, one point behind Real Betis with a game in hand.
