The Brazilian forward Raphina is the number one priority of Barcelona to sign if Ousmane Dembele doesn’t renew his contract with Barcelona.
However, the deal won’t be easy for Barcelona as Leeds United are not ready to let go of Raphina. Moreover, he has a contract with Leeds United.
Raphina is a highly rated winger with a price tag of around €50 million. Moreover, other than Barcelona, he is also being tracked by many other European giants. Therefore, Leeds United will look to cash in if Raphina leaves.
“I have a contract with Leeds until 2024, so my future is in the hands of Deco and Leeds,” he said while on national team duty with Brazil. “My mind is on the national team, on the upcoming matches and on my holidays.
“I have a contract with Leeds and this issue will have to be discussed with my agent. When something happens, he’ll tell me.”
“Knowing that there are less than six months to the World Cup, you must be playing at the club level,” he added. “That weighs on my decision, but I’m confident in my abilities.
“Whether I stay or leave, I’m going to give my best, look for opportunities and try and to be ready for the World Cup.”
Raphina was Leeds United’s key player in Premier League survival as they finished 3 points above Relegation zone on the league table.
