Barcelona are trying to renew the contract of Dani Alves. Barcelona signed Dani Alves in November, but he was able to join the team in the January transfer window.

Dani Alves was given a second thought when he was brought back to Barcelona because of his age. However, he is doing really well and helping Barcelona achieve their main goal of qualifying for the Champions League.

Moreover, Dani Alves has already contributed to four goals for Barca in six games of La Liga with three assists and one goal.

Barcelona and Alves have a clause in the contract that extends his contract for one more year. Reports suggest that they’re going to use it after a veteran’s performance. As a result, Dani Alves will play for Barca till 2024.

Barca is going to renew his contract not only for his skills on the field but also for his off-field behaviour, leadership and helping young players.

Barcelona did not register him for the European League because the club wanted Daniel Alves to concentrate on helping Barcelona finish fourth in the Spanish league. Barca are currently in 4th position on the league table.
