Carlos Tevez retires from professional football

Carlos Tevez, 38 years old and Argentine, has announced his retirement from professional football.

The Argentine decided to take early retirement from football because of the death of his father.

“I have retired, it is confirmed.” Carlos Tevez told Mundo Albiceleste. 

“They offered me many things, including from the United States.” But that’s it. I have given everything. 

Playing the last year was very difficult, but I was able to see my old man. I stopped playing because I lost my number one fan. ”

Carlos was capped 76 times for Argentina. Furthermore, Carlos Tevez played for Manchester City and Manchester United in England. 

However, he also played for Juventus in Serie A. Moreover, he won three Premier Leagues, two Serie A titles, and a Champions League during his time in Europe. 

Tevez also played for Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese league. Moreover, he also played for his boyhood club, Boca Juniors.
