Cristiano Ronaldo ended his goal drought and Bruno scored late to secure a win for Manchester United against 10-man Brighton.
Brighton got off to a flying start, with Jacob Moder trying to score and forcing De Gea into a save. After Brighton goal opportunity, United began to enjoy more ball possession but were unable to score goals due to brighton’s well-organized defence.
De gea was forced to make a save at the end of the first half to palm away Moder’s header. Ronaldo scored with a brilliant strike after the first half to end his goal drought. Few minutes later, Brighton defender Lewis Dunk was shown a red card for a challenge on Anthony Elanga.
And in injury time, Bruno makes it 2-0 for the home team, securing a victory for his team against Brighton. United’s victory takes them to the 4th position on the Premier League table, 2 points ahead of West Ham United.
United were not so great in the first half, but they took full advantage of 10-man Brighton in the second half.
