David Alaba will be available for the Champions League final against Liverpool on May 29th at the Stade de France.
Alaba has trained with the rest of his Madrid teammates for the first time since he sustained an abductor injury. The occured during the Champions League semi-final against Manchester City. Real Madrid won that game by 6-5 aggregate score.
Alaba was an unused substitute in the second leg against Manchester City. The injury has also kept him out of Real Madrid’s last four league games.
David Alaba has been an important member of Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid squad, scoring three goals and providing four assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
In Los Blancos’ last game before the Champions League final against Liverpool on May 29, he will be available to play against Real Betis.
Alaba will start alongside Eder Militao in the middle of the Real Madrid defence, with Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy in the full-back positions for Champions League final.
EFE reports that Ancelotti may have the full squad available for the match against Liverpool.
