The former Liverpool player Dean Saunders thinks that Sadio Mane will make a mistake leaving the Merseyside in the summer to join Bayern Munich.
After the Champions League defeat against Real Madrid Sadio Mane made clear that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
However, Dean Saunders thinks that going to Bayern Munich wasting two years of his footballing career.
Dean Saunders talked to Talksport he said: “He’s going to sit in an armchair, light up a cigarette, play for Bayern and ruin the best two years of his footballing life,”
“He will score goals, that’s for sure,” Saunders added.
“They win 5-0 every week, it’s not a challenge.
“At the end of his career, the German league winners’ medal will be in his cabinet.
“It’s nothing against Bayern Munich, they are a great club, but only one team can win the Bundesliga.
However, Bayern Munich are close to signing Liverpool forward Sadio Mane for 41 million euros.
