Erik ten Hag will prioritise signing Ruben Neves if he is incharge of Manchester United next season
In the last two transfer windows, United tried to sign the Portugal international but failed to convince Wolves to sell him. According to The Sun, Erik ten Hag will make Ruben Neves his Number 1 priority if he lands the Manchester United job.
The move could result in Neves being as a replacement for the likes of Nemanja Matic or Paul Pogba, considering the uncertain futures of both midfielders in the near future.
Manchester United are struggling in midfield, so the signing of Ruben could be vital for the team. At the moment, Ruben Neves is out injured for the Wolves with a knee injury. Ruben Neves could be out until May because of his medial collateral ligament injury to his knee.
Manchester United have competition to buy Ruben Neves as Arsenal are keeping close tabs on his situation.
