Inter Milan won the Coppa Italia after beating Juventus 4-2 in extra-time at the Olimpico Stadium.
Inter Milan won the first Coppa Italia since 2011 courtesy of a 4-2 victory over Juventus. It was an entertaining game from the start as Inter Milan took the lead in just 6 minutes through Nicolo Barella.
Juventus had many opportunities in the first half, but they didn’t manage to score. Therefore, Inter Milan had a lead of one goal going into halftime.
However, in the second half, Alex Sandro scored a goal to bring Juve on level terms. Soon after that, Disan Vlahovic completed the comeback and Juventus were leading by one goal.
However, Martinez was fouled by Bonucci in the box, which resulted in a penalty for Inter. Hakan Calhanoglu stepped up and scored the penalty to take the game to extra-time.
