After Marcelo Bielsa was sacked, Jesse Marsch has been appointed as the new head coach of Leeds United.

Leeds United have won just one point in their last six Premier League games under Biesla. Leeds are now just two points above relegation zone. Biesla was sacked after the loss against Tottenham 4-0 at Elland Road.

Jesse Marsch signed contract till 2025 with Leeds united. Jesse Marsch previously managed the New York Red Bulls and RB Leipzig. He is expected to turn things around for Leeds United. Marsch left the Bundesliga by mutual consent in December after only five months in charge.

“I have to identify how to do the important things and simple things right away, before building the complexity moving forward,” Marsch said. “We have all the tools here. I’m here to help this group understand how we can get better and handling the moment right now, we have to stay calm and control what we can control. We are still in a good situation where we control all of our destiny.”

Leeds United play Leicester City next at the King Power Stadium on March 5th.
