LaLiga complains to UEFA about violating financial fair play regulations (FFP)

LaLiga

LaLiga filed a complaint to UEFA against the European teams like Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.

Manchester City signed Haaland from Borussia Dortmund after paying his release clause. Moreover, Paris Saint-Germain also asked Kylian Mbappe to stay and offered him a €150 million bonus.

To that LaLiga in a statement said: “LaLiga considers that these practices alter the ecosystem and the sustainability of football, harm all European clubs and leagues, and only serve to artificially inflate the market, with money not generated in football itself.”

“LaLiga understands that the irregular financing of these clubs is carried out, either through direct injections of money or through sponsorship and other contracts that do not correspond to market conditions or make economic sense.”

Moreover, Javier Tebas the President of the league has accused Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain of consistently violating financial fair play regulations (FFP).

However, the league will also sue PSG in France, Switzerland, and the European Union.
