The Reds lost against Inter in the second leg of the Champions League, but they won on aggregate. Liverpool survived against Inter as they were down to 10 men for most of the second half.

The game was pretty tight with chances at both ends, but Liverpool enjoyed more ball possession with around 62%. However, Inter had more shots on target compared to Liverpool.

Liverpool were not at their best against the Italian champions. Jurgen Klopp’s side had many chances but they were not able to finish it with Salah hitting the post twice in the second half.

Just after the hour mark, Lautaro Martinez scored a beautiful goal out of nowhere and gave Inter fans some hope. Later, after a few minutes, Alexis Sanchez received a red for his challenge on Fabinho. It was his second yellow of the game. And after that, Inter were not able to create any big chances.
