The goals from Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino helped Liverpool beat Arsenal 0-2 at the Emirates Stadium.

Both teams had almost the same number of chances throughout the game. However, Liverpool were able to make it count and Arsenal failed.

Liverpool had 61% of ball possession and 9 shots, with 3 of them on target. Meanwhile, Arsenal also had nine shots, with two of them on target, but failed to find the net.

Both teams went into the first half on level terms. Soon after the restart, Liverpool thought they had taken the lead when Sadio Mane scored but the flag was raised.

Soon after the offside goal, Arsenal had an amazing opportunity to take the lead after Thiago gave a horrendous back pass to Lacazette. However, Alisson made an amazing save to deny Arsenal from scoring the first goal.

Later, after two minutes, Thiago plays one sublime throughball to Jota and he fires the ball into the net to give the visitors the lead. Roberto Firmino helped Liverpool double the lead in the 62nd minute.

After winning this match, Liverpool are now just a point behind the league leaders, Manchester City. Meanwhile, Arsenal are still in 4th place after the defeat.
