Liverpool beat Chelsea to win EFL Cup at Wembley

Liverpool vs Chelsea

Liverpool won the EFL Cup on penalties, defeating Chelsea 11-10. Caoimhn Kelleher, a young goalkeeper, was the hero.

It was the best 0-0 game ever because both teams were at their best. Both teams were able to create chances and defend them pretty well. The intensity of the match was too high and we saw many goals from both sides, but they were offside.

The stunning game ended goalless (0-0) and later, in penalties, Liverpool made no mistake to win their ninth league cup. Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher scored a decisive penalty in the shootout and made some important saves in the game.

Thomas Tuchel gambled on substituting Édouard Mendy to bring on Kepa for penalties at the end of extra time. And it didn’t end well for Chelsea, as Kepa failed to save a single penalty and skied his own in front of the Liverpool fans.

Chelsea’s Mendy was arguably the best player and Man of the Match for Chelsea in the final against Liverpool.
