Liverpool booked their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after deafeating Norwich City 2-1 on Wednesday.
Liverpool kept their quadruple dream alive after beating Norwich City at Anfield. The Reds dominated the first half of the game and were able to score two goals. Both goals came from Takumi Minamino. In the first half, the effort from Curtis Jones was inches away from being Liverpool’s first goal, but it hit the crossbar.
However, Tsimikas passed the ball to Origi into the box, and Origi passed that ball to Minamino to finish it and give the Reds a well-deserved lead. Later, Minamino was unmarked at Liverpool’s corner, and Minamino made no mistake making Norwich count. He blostered the ball into the net to double their lead.
Later in the second, Norwich scored a goal with a brilliant effort from Lukas Rupp to make it 2-1. Liverpool haven’t won the FA Cup since 2006, and with this team they have a chance to end that drought.
