Manchester City beat their neighbours Manchester United with a 4-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City won the Manchester derby with Riyad Mahrez and Kevin de Bruyne both scoring brace. The Belgian international scored two goals and assisted on another, completing off a perfect day for Pep Guardiola’s team.

As always, Pep Guardiola’s city dominated the ball possession, taking over more than 20 shots. Meanwhile, Manchester United only had 30% of possession with 5 shots and only two of them on target.

Manchester City took five minutes to score their first goal against Manchester United. However, Manchester United equalised in the 22nd minute when Sancho scored a beautiful goal. Pep Guardiola’s side reacted quickly and regained their lead in the 28th minute with De Bruyne again scoring.

At half time, the game was 2-1 with Manchester City leading. As the game started, Man City was dominating and they doubled their lead with a brilliant corner to the far post from De Bruyne to Mahrez to finish it.

In the injury time, the substitute Gundogan played the ball to Mahrez to score, and he scored. However, it was offside according to the linesman, but later it was given a goal after the check.
