Newcastle United came back from behind to beat Leicester City 2-1 at St. James’ Park.

Just when everyone thought that game was going to end 1-1 in a draw, Newcastle United scored a beautiful goal through a counter attack. Leicester City took the lead in the 19th minute through Lookman after Leicester’s lovely set piece move.

However, Bruno Guimaraes levelled the score after half an hour. The goal was initially ruled out, but a VAR check allowed the goal. Leicester City were good in the first half, but Newcastle United looked clearly the better side as they had many chances.

The game was evenly matched as both teams had quality players to turn things around. However, it was Newcastle United who found the winner in the additional minutes through Bruno Guimaraes.

Newcastle’s victory against Leicester sends them to 14th position on the table and 12 points away from relegation-battling Burnley.

Leicester, meanwhile, remains in ninth place in the Premier League table.
