Nottingham Forest gets promoted to the Premier League after 23 years after winning the Play-off against Huddersfeild.

Moreover, Forest was even relegated to English football’s third division in 2005, where they remained there for three seasons.

Huddersfield’s 43rd-minute own goal clinched Forest’s promotion to the Premier League in a tense play-off final at Wembley. Therefore, Forest won 0-1 against Huddersfield.

They beat Huddersfield Town in front of 80,019 people at Wembley Stadium after defeating Sheffield United on penalty kicks in the semi-finals.

Moreover, Nottingham Forest had a season full of ups and downs. They started their season in the relegation zone alongside their local rivals Derby County.

Moreover, Forest knocked out Leicester City and also Arsenal in the FA Cup. However, they lost to Liverpool narrowly and were knocked out of the competition.

Nottingham Forest will begin next season as a Premier League side for the first time since 1998-99.
