The home side took the lead in the second minute when Kevin Gumeiro latched onto a through ball and fired past Donnarumma. However, Kylian Mbappe equalised for the visitors in the 23rd minute on a counter attack.
Both teams had chances to score in the first half. However, neither of them were able to find the net in the first half. However, PSG had a slow start to the game, but after Mbappe equalised, they had a good spell. Still, they didn’t manage to score more than one goal in the first half.
Later, in the second half, PSG scored their second in the 64th minute through Achraf Hakimi. Moreover, in the 68th minute, Kylian Mbappe took the game away from Strasbourg as he scored his second goal and third one for Paris Saint-Germain.
Paris Saint-Germain were in control of the game until Strasbourg managed to score the second goal. It was an own goal by Marco Verratti when, at the corner, Diallo’s header hit Verratti’s knee before crossing the line.
Strasbourg scored their equaliser in the additional minute when Anthony Caci’s composed striker beat Donnarumma at the far post.
