Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has announced that he will leave Manchester United as a consultant.
Rangnick agreed to help establish the club’s strategy in an advising position when he took over as interim manager at Old Trafford.
However, Rangnick has decided not to continue with the Reds. Rangnick has been named Austria’s coach, and Ralf Rangnick’s team will compete in the Nations League against Croatia, Denmark, and France.
However, In his first press conference as a coach of Austria he revealed that he will not continue at Manchester United.
Ralf said: “We have come to the conclusion that it is better for me and the club to concentrate fully on the Austrian national team,”
“I cancelled the consultancy contract.”
Manchester United said he in a statement: “We would like to thank Ralf Rangnick for his efforts as interim manager over the past six months.
“By mutual agreement, Ralf will now focus solely on his new role as manager of the Austria national team and will not therefore be taking up a consultancy role at Old Trafford.
“We would like to wish Ralf the best of luck in this next chapter of his career.”
