Real Madrid CF and Vinicius Junior are working on a contract renewal after his best season for the club.

This season, Vinicius Junior has scored 17 goals and provided 19 assists in 34 appearances for Real Madrid in LaLiga. He has also scored three goals and provided six assists in the Champions League in 12 appearances for Real Madrid.

A great relationship has always existed between the club and his agents, so a deal will be a formality. Still, there has been no agreement between the parties.

Moreover, the aspects of the deal and a few more details are to be finalised between the parties.

According to Marca, the club wants the attacker to sign until 2028. Basically, the clause will go from 350 million euros to 1 billion euros, in line with Real Madrid’s standard buyout figure.

Due to his recent performances, Vinicius Junior is arguably one of the best wingers in the world. Moreover, Real Madrid wants to accelerate the negotiations and renew his contract.

Alongside Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric’s and Nacho’s contract talks have also been started.
