In the second leg of the Champions League, Real Madrid came from behind to defeat Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 on aggregate. Karim Benzema scored a hat-trick in 17 minutes to give his team the lead.

The first leg of this fixture ended in the favour of Paris Saint-Germain after Kylian Mbappe scored in injury time against Real Madrid. In the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu, the hosts started the game with high intensity and pressing. However, they were not able to score any goals. PSG found the net in the first half with the help of Kylian Mbappe in the 39th minute.

Later in the second half, Real Madrid started pressing high up the pitch. That pressing helped them, and the PSG goalkeeper made a mistake, and Benzema made him pay.

It changed the whole dynamic of the game. After a few minutes, Benezma scored again to level the aggregate. Right after the goal, he scored again as Marquinhos’ clear was not that good, so he scored again to give the hosts a well-deserved lead.
