Roma confirm Europa League football after beating Torino

Roma qualified for next season’s Europa League with a 3-0 victory over Torino in their final Serie A game.

Tammy Abraham netted two goals and Lorenzo Pellegrini scored a penalty against Torino to ensure Roma finished in the top six.

However, Roma are currently in 6th place in the league table, one place behind Lazio, who still have one game left to play. Tammy Abraham broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute. He scored a right-footed shot from the centre of the box and found the bottom right corner. 

Former Chelsea striker Abraham doubled the lead for the visitors in the 42nd minute through a penalty. 

Tammy Abraham has been a key player in Jose Mourinho’s Roma. Moreover, he has scored 17 goals and provided four assists in 37 games. 

In the second half, Roma were awarded another penalty and Lorezo Pellegrini stepped up and smashed it into the bottom left corner.

Moreover, Roma will look to focus on their Europa Conference League final on May 26th against Feyenoord.
