Sporting Braga takes narrow victory against Rangers

Rangers took a narrow 1-0 defeat against Sporting Braga in the Europa League quarter-final and did not manage to register a shot on target. 

The Portuguese side had a dominating game in the first half and scored a goal. The home team scored the opening goal in the 40th minute through Abel Ruiz.

Moreover, Braga also had their goal ruled out by VAR in the 26th minute. Sporting Braga went into the first half with a one-goal lead. 

Later In the second half, Rangers tried to score a goal, but they were not able to find the net. The game was turned towards Rangers when they made some important substitutes. 

They made some impact on the visitors. Golson also missed a few chances for his team. The first leg of this tie was very exciting and is still balanced. 

Rangers will try to turn things around in the second leg against Sporting Braga next week at the Ibrox stadium.
