According to ESPN, Barcelona are hoping Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur can convince Clement Lenglet to join the English club.

Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona have been negotiating a loan deal for Clement Lenglet, who is not part of the club’s plans for next season.

FC Barcelona need to sell their players in order to manage their wage bill to register ne players. Therefore, they are trying to sell the France International.

It is said that Barcelona coach Xavi has told Lenglet to leave the club as he is not part of his plans.

However, Barcelona have signed Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen to pair with Ronald Araujo in the Barca’s defense. Moreover, in recent weeks there are reports saying Barcelona wants to sign Sevilla’s Jules Kounde.

Meaanwhile, Eric Garcia and Gerard Pique are going to stay at the club and fight for the starting spot.

Barcelona will be hoping that the 27-year-old agrees to leave the club this summer so they can register players.

Meanwhile, Antonio Conte is looking to have depth in the squad and have competition in the centre-back position.
