Trent Alexander-Arnold has revealed how many trophies Liverpool hopes to win this season as the Reds attempt to catch Manchester City in the Premier League title race.

Trent claims that Liverpool are not disappointed that they have not won more trophies and that they should aim to win at least one every season. Liverpool failed to defend their Premier League title in 2020/21, falling horribly short after a defensive injury crisis ruined their squad.

However, with Klopp’s squad now fully fit for the first time in two years, Liverpool are still competing on all four fronts as they enter February ahead of next week’s League Cup final against Chelsea. When it comes to the Champions League, trent pointed out that Liverpool has succeeded where Man City has failed.

“Partially, yeah. I’d say partially (we feel like we should have won more),” he told reporters. “We don’t feel disappointed we haven’t won enough trophies because we feel the ones we have won are the biggest and the best that you can get your hands on.
