West Ham United defeated Everton 2-1 at the London stadium. The goals from Cresswell and Bowen were enough to take all three points.

Frank Lampard’s Everton suffered another defeat in the Premier League. Moreover, Everton have only won three points in their last six games. Both teams West Ham United and Everton had their chances, but it was West Ham United who scored the opener in the first half

In the 32nd minute, Aaron Cresswell scored a beautiful free-kick to give the hosts the lead. The Hammers could have scored more goals in the first half as Antonio and Benrahma came close. However, they were not able to find the net.

Meanwhile, Everton failed to register a shot on target in the first half. Richarlison looked dangerous in the first half and was the real threat to the Hammers. However, all his efforts were off target.

In the second half, Everton scored the important equaliser through Mason Holgate. However, both teams were on level terms for only five minutes as West Ham scored the second goal through Jarrod Bowen. Jarrod Bowen’s goal was enough to defeat Everton.

Everton are in 17th position in the league with 25 points in 28 games. Meanwhile, West Ham United has closed the gap on fourth place and is now sixth in the Premier League table.
